Tradition
Founded in 1803, the University of Antioquia is Colombia´s oldest public university. Currently home to 36 000 students, it is also the country´s second largest. Research Over 1500 researchers currently involved in more than 1000 projects in all fields of knowledge have built our name as a key research university in Colombia and a dynamic and trusted partner in Latin America. Commitment to society Our university is known as the Alma Mater of the Department of Antioquia. Our main campus is located in Medellin, its lively capital city, which is today regarded as a model of education, culture and urban develpment in the Americas. |
