| BUTEX represents nearly eighty higher education institutions in the United Kingdom with active transatlantic links and interests, most of which have a variety of individual exchange arrangements with North American universities and colleges. BUTEX works in a range of areas and includes in its brief the promotion of UK higher education in North America and the regular exchange of information among its members on a variety of current educational issues. BUTEX works closely with relevant sister organisations such as the British Council, CBIE (Canadian Bureau of International Education), CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange), EAIE (European Association of International Educators), NAFSA ( Association of International Educators) and UKCISA (The Council for International Education). | |
