Bologna Process Official Seminar on Employability
Preparing students for the labour market and lifelong learning – promoting employability of graduates with bachelor qualifications
The Seminar will focus on means of enhancing the employability of European graduates at the three main exit points, namely: following completion of a Bachelor degree (1st cycle), a Master’s degree (2nd cycle) and a Doctoral degree (3rd cycle).
The Seminar will explore the following themes from a wide-range of viewpoints, including academics, students, employers and professional bodies:
• How we ensure that higher education, particularly at the Bachelor level, is relevant to the labour market;
• How we ensure that employers are aware of the additional skills that graduates exiting at the three cycle stages can offer;
• Further enhancement of employability through Bologna.
