UNESCO-BREDA has published a comparative study on distance learning in Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa entitled "Formation à distance en Afrique sub-saharienne francophone – Etudes comparées". The study presents past and current ICT training initiatives and open and distance education approaches and includes workshop and seminar outcomes, case studies and articles from various sources (UNESCO, World Bank, Association for the Development of Education in Africa, etc.).
