Erasmus Mundus Funding to Be Increased

Thanks to the EU's approval of a fourfold budget increase for the 2009-2013 Erasmus Mundus budget, more European students will be eligible for scholarships when studying in non-EU countries. The program's five-year budget will be increased to a total of €950 million. According to a press release by the European Commission, these additional funds will also be used to extend the program to doctoral level.
