Euromost - promoting professional mobility from and towards Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC)

Nancy, 07 April 2006

Euromost lies within the framework of Central and Eastern European Countries' adherence to the European Union. It has authority to develop professional mobility between Western Europe and Central and Eastern European countries. It is implemented thanks to the co-financing of the European Commission Leonardo da Vinci programme and by partners from Western, Central and Eastern Europe. The coordination is provided by the Pôle Universitaire Européen de Lorraine and the Maison des PECO (Nancy - France).

Euromost targets two types of audiences:

  • mainly companies, local communities and associations, and more generally any Western European inhabitant who is interested in professional mobility -an internship or a job - in the CEEC and any CEEC inhabitant wishing to do an internship or work in France, Belgium or Portugal.
  • anybody who is interested in the CEEC cultural and language aspects, whether it is for a tourist getaway or more simply to better know these countries.

The content of Euromost includes:
  • General guidelines and advice to do an internship or have a professional activity in France, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Western European guides are available in Polish, Check, Slovakian, Hungarian and Romanian. CEEC guides are available in French, Portuguese and Flemish. All guides are also available in English.
