IIE's Andrew Heiskell Awards - Deadline Extended to October 15th
IIE is delighted to invite you to
nominate your program for the 2006-2007 Andrew Heiskell Awards for Innovation in
International Education. Please note that we have made few changes to this
year's award categories,
including adding a new category for "International Exchange
Partnerships."
IIE created these awards to honor
outstanding initiatives in international higher education by IIENetwork member
universities and colleges. IIE’s Heiskell Awards showcase the most innovative
and successful models for internationalization of campuses, study abroad, and
international exchange partnerships in practice today. We look forward to
receiving your nominations and to learning about the creative ways that you and
your campuses are responding to the challenges of preparing the next generation
to think and work on a global basis.

**New Category in 2006-2007**

technology to sustain research and teaching partnerships, are also encouraged.
All innovative forms of linkages will be eligible for this award in the 2006-07
academic year.
NOMINATING YOUR
PROGRAM:
Please describe your initiative's key components - highlighting what is the
most innovative or outstanding feature - in a document of 3 pages or less.

Finally, please also provide a
signed letter from your Provost or President endorsing your program's
nomination.
Winning programs will be featured on
